Toothpaste burnt nose.?

The last time I did it, I used my little sibling's toothpaste and didn't leave as long as it takes to dry. I was trying to get rid of dirt pores and sweat pores(not acne pores exactly) on my nose and I put toothpaste and even though I researched it - and it said to not use mint toothpaste,I did anyway. I thought it was going to sting - not really burn. My nose looks horrible now. Luckily it's summer. Please help. Nose is really dry to. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET RID OF MY NOSE PORES BUT NOTHING WORKED. Any advice - on burns and pores. Thx
